The privately owned company NIL Technology ApS (NILT) was established in February 2006. NILT is focussing on delivering state-of-the-art masters for micro- and nanostructure replication. The technologies applied are silicon processing technologies, with unique capabilities within electron beam lithography, DUV lithography and nanoimprint lithography (NIL). Focus is on providing stamps for nanoimprint lithography, masters for casting of polymers, shims for hot embossing, Roll-2-Roll printing and injection moulding.
Since 2010, NILT has done extensive research and development work within nanostructuring of commercial injection moulding steel tools for direct functionalization. This is also the aim of the IZADI project where NILTs role will be to develop nanoimprinted injection moulding tool inserts for the MAIER B-pillar. NILT is an SME with 12 full time employees (10 in Denmark and 2 in Sweden) out of which 11 are specialized in the field of NIL. The company has supplied products to more than 250 companies worldwide.
